BEESWAX

The older worker bees return from the flowers with their legs full of pollen grains and stomachs full of nectar (which is mixed with the enzymes secreted by their nectar glands). The younger worker bees receive the immature honey and deliver it to another group of workers. During this, honey loses water and is stored – along with pollen grains – in the hexagon cells. Then, workers produce a waxy substance to cover the cells. After 3 days, the honey matures. So, the beeswax has the same benefits and components (pollen grains, propolis, royal jelly) of liquid honey.
